Quartz Receives BGCDC 2024 Corporate Volunteer Engagement Award

This week, Quartz was recognized with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County (BGCDC) 2024 Hearts for Helping Corporate Volunteer Engagement Award. This award is presented to partners that have furthered BGCDC’s mission to “inspire and empower all youth, especially those that need us most, to realize their full potential.”

The award was presented at BGCDC’s Hearts for Helping “Let’s Go Crazy” Gala on Friday, February 23 at The Madison Concourse Hotel. The event helps further the organization’s work towards building different pathways for better futures for youth in our community.

“Quartz is honored to receive this year’s Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County Corporate Volunteer Engagement Award,” said Tom Ward, Quartz Chief Human Resources Officer. “At Quartz, we know we only succeed if our community succeeds. We’re proud to foster a culture of commitment, encouraging our employees at all levels of our organization to be active in our communities and give back to help further our mission of a future where a life well-lived is within reach for all our neighbors.”

Representatives from Quartz attended the Hearts for Helping event and the announcement of the awards. Quartz has been proud to support BGCDC through a variety of activities and events in this and previous years.

“Quartz’s commitment to volunteering exemplifies their dedication to community betterment”, said Michael Johnson, President and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County. “Their support of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County not only enriches the lives of local youth but also sets a shining example of corporate responsibility and compassion.”
