Siva Balu brings over 24 years of experience in business strategy, digital transformation, and change management to Quartz. With a proven track record of leading high-growth initiatives across healthcare and digital platforms, Siva’s expertise aligns deeply with Quartz's mission to deliver proactive solutions to build a life well-lived.

Before joining Quartz, Siva played a key role at UnitedHealth Group, where he drove digital advancements for the Ancillary and Individual business lines. His leadership extended to the YMCA of the USA, where he led a nationwide digital transformation, including the creation of the Y Cloud platform and innovative tools such as a mobile app, virtual health content, and big data analytics. Siva's long-standing career includes over two decades at Blue Cross Blue Shield, where he leveraged technology to improve the experience of over 110 million members, help reduce operational costs, and address social determinants of health.

At Quartz, Siva is excited to further his passion for technology-driven transformation. His focus will be on enhancing the member experience, streamlining operations, and delivering personalized healthcare solutions.

Siva holds an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and advanced executive degrees in Strategy and Innovation from Harvard and Artificial Intelligence from MIT. His leadership and insights make him a sought-after keynote speaker and a respected board member in the nonprofit sector, where he actively supports diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) initiatives.
