Important Update on the 9MM Program

For many years, we have partnered with you to provide this supportive prenatal and postpartum program and we are grateful for the continued collaboration.

Quartz is currently performing a critical review of our population health capabilities and re-evaluating the programs, tools and resources to best support our members. We are developing a robust strategic plan that will incorporate a diverse range of population health topics, establish key performance goals, expand our analytical tools and offer improved digital capabilities to engage our members with cutting-edge technology.

As we begin some program transitions that are part of this effort to enhance our overall population health capabilities, we will be closing the 9 Months & More Program to new enrollments as of January 1, 2019.

As we begin some program transitions that are part of this effort to enhance our overall population health capabilities, we will be closing the 9 Months & More Program to new enrollments as of January 1, 2019.

We will continue to work with your patients who have enrollment applications submitted by December 31, 2018 and partner with them through the existing program structure throughout 2019.

Our program innovation work has begun and will continue well into 2019. We look forward to sharing an updated and enhanced prenatal / postpartum program with you in the upcoming year.

In addition, please note that Quartz will continue to offer a free, double electric breast pump for pregnant women in 2019 with Commercial coverage. Members simply need a prescription to receive this benefit.

If the member’s PCP is located within Dane County, the pump can be obtained from the UnityPoint Health at Home Retail Store located in Madison. If the member’s PCP is located outside of Dane County, she is advised to contact Chartwell at (608) 831-8555 to get information on how to obtain her free pump.

Members with Quartz BadgerCare Plus coverage may contact DHS Member Services at (800) 362-3002 to inquire about obtaining a breast pump.

Thank you again for your support of this program. We look forward to continuing our partnership in the new year.
