Healthy living means taking care of yourself and your family. The best way to stay healthy is to prevent or find illness early. Work with your doctor or nurse to make sure that suggested screenings and tests are done at the right time.

Preventive Services Covered under the Affordable Care Act

Under the Affordable Care Act, some preventive health care services are covered at no cost to you when delivered by a provider within your network. Please talk to your doctor or nurse about your preventive care needs.

A preventive visit does not include diagnosis or treatment of a new or existing concern or condition. If a medical issue is identified, discussed, or treated, and lab work or additional tests are ordered, you may have out-of-pocket costs. The amount will vary depending on your plan and coverage limits. Learn more about preventive services visits.

Expanded Preventive Services

Some Quartz plans include additional preventive benefits beyond what is required by law, either free or reduced cost-sharing. These include medical and pharmacy benefits for certain chronic conditions and diagnoses. See if you qualify and start saving.
