Now is the perfect time to focus on heart health with your patients, especially when it comes to controlling hypertension. As one of the most common chronic conditions in the U.S., hypertension affects over 120 million U.S. adults and 1.4 million adults in Wisconsin. It is the leading risk factor for heart disease, stroke, and chronic kidney disease.
