Work one-on-one with a coach

A health coach will help you build healthy habits, manage stress, and stay on track with your goals. Coaching may be a good fit if you:

  • Want help managing everyday stress
  • Are looking to build healthier routines or coping strategies
  • Want support staying motivated and accountable
  • Are navigating life changes, relationships, or work challenges

Connect with a licensed mental health therapist 

Connect with a licensed mental health professional for confidential virtual visits from home. Virtual therapy may be a good fit if you:

  • Are experiencing symptoms like anxiety, depression, or persistent stress
  • Need clinical support or a mental health diagnosis
  • Want to work through deeper emotional or psychological concerns
  • Are looking for structured treatment or ongoing care

Virtual therapy is available for members ages 18 and older. Most sessions can be scheduled within five business days. To get started, enroll online with Optum Behavioral Care or call (877) 622-0013.   

Personalized guidance navigating your mental and behavioral health care

Quartz Care Management is a team of trained health professionals who support you through life’s health changes, from new diagnoses to ongoing care. They are here to provide guidance and support for your medical, emotional, and social needs at no additional cost. Care Management can help you:

  • Understand your care options
  • Stay on track with appointments and follow-ups
  • Navigate care transitions and coordinate care types
  • Find helpful programs and community resources

Mental health focuses on your emotional, psychological, and social well‑being. Behavioral health includes mental health but also looks at other factors that affect overall wellness, such as sleep patterns, substance use, stress responses, and daily routines. Together, they give a fuller picture of how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors shape your health and quality of life.

Quartz provides support for a wide range of mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, panic disorder, alcohol and drug misuse, stress, and more. If you’re unsure where to start, we can help guide you toward the right resources.

Our Care Management team takes the time to understand your needs, answer questions about available services, coordinate care across providers, and work with you to create a personalized plan that supports your goals. Families of children experiencing mental health challenges can also access this support at no extra cost.

All members with Quartz as primary coverage are eligible, except those receiving hospice care or living in long-term care facilities.

No. Care Management services are included in your Quartz benefits at no additional cost.

Therapy sessions may include a cost-share, depending on your Quartz plan and benefits. Check your Schedule of Benefits in Quartz MyChart for details or contact Quartz Customer Success for help reviewing your coverage.

No referral is needed. You can contact Care Management to get started with Quartz mental well-being support, or use the Find a Doctor tool to locate an in-network behavioral health provider.
