Employer Resources for Worksite Flu Shot Clinics
Quartz recommends that all members get a flu shot each year.
Worksite Flu Shot Clinics
One way to help employees stay healthy is by them getting a flu shot. We understand that it may be hard for some of your employees to leave work to get a flu shot. In order to make getting a flu shot easier, we offer help for our employer groups to provide this service at the worksite.

The worksite flu shot clinic is intended for Quartz members. Benefits must be in effect at the time they receive the flu shot; Quartz must be the member’s primary insurance carrier or the claim will be denied. Also:
- The member must provide their Quartz member ID card prior to getting a flu shot.
- Flu Shots for dependent children:
- Contracted Vendor – Flu shots for dependent Quartz members are covered at a worksite flu shot clinic.
- Contracted Pharmacies – Flu shots for dependent Quartz members six years of age and older are covered at a worksite flu shot clinic. We encourage dependents to receive the flu shot at their primary care clinic as they are better equipped to assess each individual need.
- Other shots at the worksite, such as pneumonia and tetanus, will not be covered. If given, any charges for these shots will be the responsibility of the person receiving the shot or the employer.
- Employers may be responsible for a fee based on the number of individuals who participate. This will be clarified when you contact a contracted vendor.
- Members who are eligible for Quartz Well can earn 500 points for a flu shot if the claim is paid by Quartz. This includes flu shots provided at the employer site.
As a reminder, flu shots are a covered benefit for all Quartz members when administered at their primary care clinic. Another option for members to receive a flu vaccine is to visit a participating Quartz pharmacy. You can locate a participating Quartz pharmacy by searching Find a Pharmacy. Quartz members six years of age and older are eligible.
