Find out if you qualify for BadgerCare Plus or Medicaid SSI
Wisconsin’s Medicaid health insurance, BadgerCare Plus and Medicaid SSI, covers adults, families, and children who meet certain income requirements.
The only way to know if you qualify is to apply:
- You can apply for the plans at Access.wi.gov. This is the state of Wisconsin’s online application tool.
- Visit the Wisconsin Department of Health Services website. You can learn more about applying and the different ways to apply.
The state decides eligibility and will let you know if you qualify. Once you qualify, you can enroll in the health insurance plan of your choice. If you do NOT choose a health insurance plan, the state will pick one for you.
