From checkups to treating common illnesses, primary care providers* (PCPs) take care of your routine health problems. Your PCP leads your health care team, which may include doctors, nurses, specialists, therapists, and other health caregivers.
You are the most important person in your health care. Make sure your doctor understands you and that you understand what your doctor is saying.
See Member Rights & Responsibilities for more information.
There are other health caregivers such as nurse practitioners (NPs) and physician assistants (PAs) who also provide some primary care. This care includes annual exams, urgent care, and follow-up of ongoing health care.
A telehealth visit is a scheduled appointment with your provider. Telehealth visits typically use video chat. They may also be done via a telephone call. Check with your Quartz health care provider to see if you can schedule a telehealth visit.
