Quartz Dual Eligible Rx Drug Coverage

Prescription drugs are included with our Dual Eligible plans. Plus, Quartz can help you manage your medications and pay less for your prescriptions, too.

Extra Help for Part D drugs

If you qualify for Low-Income Subsidy (LIS), also known as “Extra Help,” you will pay reduced cost-sharing for your Part D drugs.

Depending on your level of LIS, your share of the cost will be one of the amounts shown below:

  • Generics: $0/$1.45/$4.15/15%
  • Brand/other: $0/$4.30/$10.35/15%

Transition fill

This program allows you to keep taking your medicine if it’s not on your new plan’s drug list or if it’s restricted in some way. Go to QuartzBenefits.com/MATransitionFill for more details.

Insulin savings

You won’t pay more than $35 for a one-month supply of each insulin product covered by our plan, no matter what cost-sharing tier it’s on.

Preventive vaccines

Our plan covers most Part D vaccines at no cost to you, even if your plan has a deductible and you haven’t paid it. Go to our Drug Coverage page on our website or call a Quartz Champion for more information.

Is my drug covered?

To see if a drug is covered, you can search our formulary (a list of drugs our plans cover) at QuartzBenefits.com/MAformulary.

If your medicines are not listed on the drug list, talk with your doctor to see if there are other options. Or call a Quartz Champion at (800) 394-5566 (TTY: 711).

You will need to use network pharmacies to fill your prescriptions for covered Part D drugs. You can search for in-network pharmacies in our provider/pharmacy directory at QuartzBenefits.com/Dualfindadoctor. Or call a Quartz Champion for help finding one at (800) 394-5566 (TTY: 711).
