Unity Health Plans Insurance Corporation (Unity) is excited to introduce a new company brand and logo – including Quartz. The branding reflects both the evolution of our integration with Gundersen Health Plan (Gundersen) and our vision for the future.
Our ongoing commitment to improving your service experience –
Since mid 2016, we have aligned our business structure to realize the benefits of our affiliation with Gundersen to bring the best possible services to you. Now integrated under the Quartz brand, our combined organization has greater scale to provide a seamless service experience throughout the communities we serve.
Today, Quartz manages services for the health insurance plans of Unity and Gundersen, which are co-owned by UW Health and Gundersen Health System. Quartz also provides administrative services for self-funded health plans. Quartz services 275,000 customers who live in southern and western Wisconsin, parts of Illinois, Iowa and Minnesota from offices located in Middleton, Sauk City and Onalaska, Wisconsin.
Keeping quality care, close to home for 45 years
Quartz represents the successful and ongoing transition to an integrated organization with a combined heritage of 45 years. Notice the corporate logo (shown above)? You will start seeing the Quartz logo appear in our advertising. The vibrant red Quartz logo reflects a strong and solid health plan services company whose primary goal is to assure the local communities it serves have access to high-quality health care.
Our main focus is you
Rest assured this change will not impact our main focus, which is and always will be our members. Unity and Gundersen will continue to be licensed health plans and to market products under those names. Members of Unity or Gundersen will remain insured by Unity or Gundersen, as affiliates of Quartz. Members can continue to use their health plan with the same benefits as they have now. The doctors that see members now will not change.
