March for Babies, formerly known as WalkAmerica, is a benefit for the March of Dimes. It began in 1970 and was the first walking event for charity in the U.S. To date, March for Babies has raised more than $2.3 billion to fund programs and research that help –

• Prevent early births, birth defects and infant deaths
• Support moms during every stage of their pregnancy journey
• Improve the care of moms and their unborn and newborn babies
• Save lives and improve quality of life
