If you cannot use a network pharmacy, there are special circumstances when our plan will cover prescriptions filled by an out-of-network provider or pharmacy:
In these situations, please check first with Customer Service to
see if there is a network pharmacy nearby. You may be required to pay the difference between what you pay for the drug at the out-of-network pharmacy and the cost that we would cover at an in-network pharmacy.
We cannot pay for any prescriptions that are filled by pharmacies outside of the United States and territories, even for a medical emergency or urgent care.
Our online pharmacy tool can locate network pharmacies throughout the United States. If you are a current member and would like help finding a network pharmacy away from home, please contact Customer Service. You may also find a pharmacy using the Pharmacy Benefit Online Tool, which you can access within MyChart.
See and print a list of pharmacies in the Quartz Medicare Advantage service area. Once you get to the Find a Doctor tool, click on Pharmacy Search in the upper right-hand corner. This will take you to the Find a Pharmacy search tool.
Find in-network pharmacies throughout the United States for times when you are traveling outside of the Quartz service area.
