Coronaviruses are viruses common in many different animal species. They rarely cause infections in people. There is a new strain called 2019-nCoV. It was first found in China. It causes breathing illnesses in people. Infections with this new virus are being reported outside of China, including the United States. Most of them are linked to travel from Wuhan City. Wuhan City is in Central China.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has the most up-to-date information on the coronavirus. You can get that news here. The CDC also explains how the virus spreads, what symptoms to expect, how to protect yourself, and what to do if you are sick. That information can be found here.
