According to the Centers for Disease Control, Influenza (the flu) is caused by viruses that we can get from other people. The flu can cause mild to severe illness. Get Vaccinated

Quartz wants you to stay healthy during the flu season. Vaccination is the best available protection against getting the flu. It is important for everyone six months of age and older to get a flu vaccine every year.

Quartz members six months or older can get a flu vaccine without having to pay a copay. Just show your Quartz member card and no copay is required.

Where to Get Your Flu Shot

Some pharmacies can give vaccines to members six years of age and older.

To find a pharmacy in your area that provides flu vaccines covered by Quartz, please use the Pharmacy Finder.

  • Under Pharmacy Types, select Eligible to provide flu vaccinations and then click Apply.
Flu Prevention Tips
  1. Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze
  2. Wash your hands often with soap and water
  3. Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth
  4. Try to avoid close contact with sick people
  5. Stay home if you are sick until at least 24 hours after you no longer have a fever
