We’ve expanded our offerings into northern Illinois

For several years, Quartz has been providing administrative services for self-funded plans to Illinois employers. Now, we are offering large group, small group and individual products in the counties of Boone, Ogle, Stephenson and Winnebago, effective for the 2019 plan year.

We are excited for the opportunity to broaden Quartz’s offerings in Illinois to meet the health insurance needs in these communities. Expanding the Quartz brand into northern Illinois will also increase patient access to SwedishAmerican, a division of UW Health.

Quartz Well end-of-year reminders

As 2018 draws to a close, we'll be communicating with your employees important Quartz Well updates –

  • Members need to make sure have claim any gift cards they've earned and save their redemption code by emailing it to themselves by December 31. If they don't claim and retain the code, they will lose the reward.
  • Also, if a member has a preventive screening or other qualifying activity late in 2018, the Quartz Well points may not be credited until 2019. While these won't count toward 2018 rewards, they'll have a head start on 2019 points.
  • If a member synced a fitness tracker in 2018, earned 2,000 points and is still active, they'll be credited with another 2,000 points to start off the new year.
