Quartz offers a broader provider network to its members.
Quartz and Gundersen Health Plan have come together under a new brand name of Quartz. Learn more about our broader provider network here.

In the last Pulse newsletter, we introduced you to our new company brand and logo, including Quartz. Now that the introductions are over, it’s time to get to know Quartz a little better.

Unity Health Insurance (Unity) and Gundersen Health Plan (Gundersen) have come together under the new brand name of Quartz – a new name in health insurance products. Quartz Health Solutions, Inc. manages, administers and supports these innovative health plans for customers in southwestern Wisconsin and beyond.

A broader provider network

Wherever you see the name Quartz, you will find the Unity and Gundersen products and services members have come to know and love over the years. We are all coming together as one big happy family under the single brand of Quartz – Quartz Health Solutions, Inc., Unity and Gundersen, which are co-owned by UW Health, Gundersen Health System and UnityPoint Health.

This means that certain plans will offer access to not only the same, local physicians available now, but also physicians throughout the UW Health and Gundersen Health System areas.

This broad access may include specialty care at Gundersen Health System, UW Health’s American Family Children’s Hospital and UW Health’s University Hospital – rated best in Wisconsin.*

What matters to you, matters to us

We live here too and what matters to members, matters to us. We take pride in serving each community with exceptional service and access to the area’s top-rated health care. Although we have a new brand, Quartz Health Solutions, Inc. is a local company – making all of its decisions with members and their family’s health in mind.
