Vice President, Actuarial

Rob Plesha began his career with Quartz Health Solutions, Inc. in 2007. Rob’s background includes expertise in the Affordable Care Act (ACA), strategic planning, risk analysis, underwriting and sales management.

At Quartz, Rob’s primary responsibilities include Actuarial, Underwriting, Pricing and Analytics for all products. He also oversees the Small Group, Individual and Exchange lines of business.

Rob received a BS in Actuarial Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He is an Associate in the Society of Actuaries as well as a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He is a graduate of executive education programs at Harvard University and University of Wisconsin – Madison.

In addition, Rob has given invited lectures at UW – Madison School of Medicine and Public Health, Edgewood College and the Society of Actuaries. He has served as a risk adjustment subject matter expert for the Wisconsin Office of the Commissioner of Insurance and has authored articles and white papers, including Risk Adjustment in Wisconsin.

Rob serves on the Executive Leadership Team of the American Heart Association – Madison and the Ronald McDonald House.
