Quartz Welcomes Chief Clinical Officer
Quartz announced today that Jami Berger, BSN, RN, MBA, will join Quartz as Senior Vice President, Chief Clinical Officer (CCO).
“It’s an honor to welcome Jami to the Quartz leadership team,” said Christine Senty, Quartz President and Chief Executive Officer (Interim). “As Chief Clinical Officer, Jami will be a collaborative partner to our provider owners as we work to evolve our clinical programs and care models to support Quartz members throughout our entire service area in achieving lives well-lived.”
Jami brings over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry with 15 years’ demonstrated success in the managed care industry, most recently serving as Vice President within the Clinical Integrated Network under CommonSpirit Health in Arizona and California. In her executive roles with these organizations, Jami transformed clinical operations, implementing more advanced care models that empowered the clinical teams to practice at the top of their licenses while leading the vision, development, and oversight of multiple value-based contracts throughout CommonSpirit’s service area.

Berger is an approachable, innovative leader with expertise in advocating for high-quality clinical programs and health plan operations. She brings to Quartz extensive experience in navigating and effectively prioritizing population health goals and the strategic needs of multiple provider sponsors.
Berger will work hand in hand with Quartz Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr. David Hanekom until his retirement from the Quartz CMO role in 2024.
