New Opportunity for 2021 Health Insurance

February 15 – May 15, 2021

Thanks to a recent executive order, people who need health insurance will have a new special enrollment period. Healthcare.gov will offer a special enrollment period February 15 – May 15, 2021, giving individuals and families in states served by the federal marketplace (including Illinois and Wisconsin) the opportunity to secure coverage for 2021.

MNsure.org, the state marketplace in Minnesota, will offer a similar option February 16 –May 17.

Quartz is participating in this special open enrollment period for direct or off-exchange enrollments, too! 

• No qualifying event is required to purchase insurance during these three months.

• Coverage will take effect the first of the month following the enrollment date, with a coverage end date of December 31, 2021.

• Also, in Wisconsin and Illinois, current enrollees may change to any available plan in their area.
