The new name emphasizes the connection to UW Health’s nationally ranked health system.

At the request of UW Health, we announce that Chartwell Midwest Wisconsin has changed the name it uses for its business to UW Health Care Direct effective February 1, 2021. The new name emphasizes the connection to UW Health’s nationally ranked health system and, for many patients, the continuity of care from hospital and clinic to home. There will be no changes to care plans at this time. Members do not need to take any action.
