Coronaviruses are viruses common in many different animal species. They rarely cause infections in people. There is a new strain called 2019-nCoV. It was first found in China. It causes breathing illnesses in people. Infections with this new virus are being reported outside of China, including the United States. Most of them are linked to travel from Wuhan City.
